Finally got my ZJ done after many years of up grades.
Dynatrac front D44 Heavy duty larger rotors and calipers/ Rear ProRock D60, 5x5.5 bolt, high pinion reverse rotation with ARBs, 4.88 gears
Currie Currectlync Steering system & custom steering brace.(like it a lot)
Procomp MX6
Custom drive shaft
NP231 Transfer case (Why didn't I swap it earlier!)
Rubican Express Long Arm kit (had a few bad customer service experiences)with Acos, total 7~8" lift.
35"12.5"15" MTR (like my old Procomp Extreme Mud better) with Beadlock black steel wheels 3.75" back space.
Addco front & Currie AntiRock rear swaybars (Addco front bar need to be relocated forward to avoid binding to front springs, Addco rear sway bar will bind to the rear springs no matter what, trashed! switch to Antirock and it rocks).
ARB front bumper with winch, rear KOR Stealth bumper with tire carrier (powder coated)
KOR sliders & roof rack & transfer case skid
Projection head light and 6 additional Hellas (do I really need them???)
Fitch catalyst (sucks!)
KNN FIPK
Jet module & thermostate
EBC yellow stuff break pads (good stuff!)
Custom exhaust to adapt to the lift, Magnaflow cat converter
3 rows radiator with heavy duty fan clutch and hood louvers
4XD gas tank skid (high guality sh%t)

KOR rear bumper gives the rear a lot of clearance so we can move the rear suspension backwards more. Which clear the 35" without trimming & make the car more stable the freeway. ( Fully use the long arms at the rear)
The car now drives better, brakes a whole lot better, turns better (a lot lighter steering), doesn't wonder around on the freeway, make a lot less noise (except the new brake pads). And finally, "zero" vibration anywhere!!

BS...there's no such thing as a completely finished rig. Especially if you wheel it? But you don't, so maybe you are!
My bad! Don't mean to offend anyone!
I mean done to my standard, after so many years of playing around with many modifications, not anyone else standard.

I will be wheeling as soon as my wife stop being mad at me spending money on the Jeep!

Here are pics of the exhaust work, and 4 X Doctor gas tank armor (they sell them on their web, the best looking & solid tank protection as I know). I will try to post some pics of rear Currie AntiRock sway bar later!

Today. I am taking my car back to 4 X Doctor for the first 500 miles break in check up & tune.

Very nice rig dude. Definitly want to hear more about the rear Antirock sway bar. My stock one broke and I really miss it. Someone needs to edubicate Dynatrac on axle fitment. A Dana 60 front axle is right at home under a ZJ.

And put me in the group of those about to call Dynatrac for one of their rear Prorocks. If your gonna do it, do it right the first time.

Can't wait to see it on the trail.

Call 4 X Doctor at 818-845-2194 & talk to Mike about the AntiRock Sway Bar to see how he fit it. Stay away from Addco rear sway bar! Mike slightly bended the sway bar outwards to make it fit ZJ. If ProRock 60 can fit on mine then I could've got another 3/4" clearance, and saved $1000 on the front axle. Please don't let it be true.

I can say that whenever I do see a ZJ with a Dana 60 up front it is running a huge lift and tire combo. It might be a V8 issue as the pumpkin is huge and would possibly make for clearance issues with the exhaust and oil pan.

Another thing to consider is the shear weight of a Dana 60 front axle. The one you see above came in just under 600 pounds. A Dana 30 weights like what, 230 pounds? I have no idea what a fully dressed 44 weighs but I know it is much lighter than the Dana 60.

Remember a ZJ on one ton axles with 38s is a much different animal than a ZJ built, well, like mine.

Bro, your ZJ is basically what the goal was for mine! I love that KOR rear bumper I was going to get it but couldnt come up with the cash. Very nice man and I am totally in love with your ZJ, I wish to have enough money one day to afford 60's

Wow, that's too much compliment for me! I waited 10 years since I own the ZJ to do this. Finally I said the Fxxk with it and did it. I don't want to die one day without achieve one of my dream. Plus a good shop really helped. Mike at 4 x Doctor actually tried to talk me out of it. He was not sure if my ZJ could take all the goodies (he is a Wrangler guy). But I kept insist on my decision. it turn out surprisingly great at the mean time (until I trail test it)

RockZJ
5 weeks in the shop, countless mounting and de-mounting of the suspension, wheels to get rid of interference. Custom making a lot of stuff.

My wife thought I was insane too! I could had bought a fully loaded brand new Rubican with extra money left.
But only you guys know the love to a Grand Cherokee. I believe a nicely lifted ZJ looks way better than a lift Rubican anytime. It looks way tougher. I spent a lot of time everyday simply looking at the car. It brings a smile to my heart.

the only expression my heart gave to me regarding my jeep is a middle finger.

just empty every pocket. who needs money to pay off school loans in the future anyway?

#45 ·
Strangely, I felt that way sometimes.

#46 ·
I really hope you like it. Great job on the customizing of it.

hmmm lets see, my oldest is 12 and my youngest is 3.... we have school, college, marriages, and then, perhaps then dad will have a rig like this! lol

That is simply awesome! And should give lots of folks like me something to look forward to.

Thanks for sharing those pics! This is what my Jeep wants to be when it grows up! lol
