hello,

my engine is sorta hestitating at low rpms, especially at idle, it sounds like its ready to die but then revs back up. when i push the gas it kinda stutters also. Think its clogged fuel injectors, bad sparkplug/distibutor?

the jeep runs fine when i am crusing though, any help is appreciated

obtw its a 4.0

Mine did the same thing for awhile. I ended up changing out the ignition coil, distributor, plugs and wires.

fuel filters are cheap.

i have this problem with my 5.2. changed the fuel filter and it ran better. still does it after about an hour of highway travel. im pretty sure its the fuel pump getting hot and wearing out. i have to pull ove when it acts up because it takes me awhile it accelerate again from the bogging down.

hasnt done it in awhile around town so im waiting for it to totally crap out.
