Recently damaged my 2001 Grand Cherokee bent front axle tube hit a tree it has the inline 6 cyl select trac 355 axle ratio. Friend has very good donor vehicle but it is a quadratrac drive train 373 gears 6 cyl engine I am taking his front and rear axle housings to put in mine Guys I am new to this. What obstacles may I encounter what will need done for speedo and shift points to be correct? I would prefer to keep my transfer case and engine. Thanks to all folks willing to give me advice.
Thanks got it done you were correct but it is ok with me it reads a few mph under would you know what the bushings are called in the rear triangular mount that go from the top of the differential to each side by the control arms??
Glad you got the axles sorted out and speedo not to far out.
should be rear upper control arm bushes and upper rear arm ball joint
