Recently damaged my 2001 Grand Cherokee bent front axle tube hit a tree it has the inline 6 cyl select trac 355 axle ratio. Friend has very good donor vehicle but it is a quadratrac drive train 373 gears 6 cyl engine I am taking his front and rear axle housings to put in mine Guys I am new to this. What obstacles may I encounter what will need done for speedo and shift points to be correct? I would prefer to keep my transfer case and engine. Thanks to all folks willing to give me advice.

I know speedo pick up is on the output shaft on my 249 box, not sure on other boxes :( but may only need a gear change in the drive

Fitting the 373 gearing will just mean you should be going slower than the speed displayed on the dash and may only be 1-2 mph out

Try doing a tread search as a lot has been posted about transfer case, axle and ratio swaps :)
