I'm new to this forum and new to my current 2006 limited. I want to change out my stereo and use my stilletto Sirius radio, but want to use the factory Sirius antenna to plug into it, so I don't have to mount the magnetic. Does anyone know where the antenna plug is or if this can be done? I don't have the Boston Acoustics system.

Don't know if it will work, but it plugs in to the back of the radio on the top left. When looking at the radio from behind.

I thought that might be the case, but I have taken the radio out, but the only antenna connection is the FM antenna. Other than the wiring harness and the FM antenna connection there are no other wires.

Any other thoughts on this?

It should be a connection directly above that. DO you currently have sat radio? If not it's not going to be there, and you'll have to buy the antenna seperately.

The factory radio does have sat. radio. I'll pull the radio again and look, but I'm almost positive that it wasn't there. Someone told me that many times it is under dash on the passenger side or in the back cargo area, but they had not worked on a Jeep before. I trust you, but I don't think the connection was on the back of the radio.

If your jeep doesn't have it then the antenna isn't there. It connects to the radio then up on the dash I believe on the pass side I might be wrong though. The Part Number for just the antenna and a bracket is 82210940AC ($158.00) I am not sure if it will connect to your aftermarket unit though.

Damn I lied!! I was thinking newer.... On your 2006 the sat radio plug is square right above the fan on the opposite side of the am/fm antenna
