I am changing my rod bearings on my 04 larado v8 4.7 4x4 and the new ones look the same but I know they are a little different. So which way do they go. Am just doing them only only 3 are loose.

First get a FSM or Haynes book on your year Jeep and 4.7 engine.
Define loose, there a rod knock when engine running?
Check the back of the old bearing for an undersize stamp order the same.
All bearing inserts look similar except for the tang on some.
Bearing inserts rely on crush to keep from spinning so be sure rod big end and cap clean and dry, just be sure the tang fits into the slot on the rod and cap.
Once the inserts in place coat them with break in lube before reinstall caps.
If 4.7s have reusable bolts torque to speck alternating side to side.
Good luck.
