Still trying to find a minute to start assembling my hybrid 44's. Lok for 77-78 f150 axles. If you go with 77-79 f-250, they will be about 67.5" WMS. If you converted the hubs to 5x5 1/2" from 8 lug (which I shold have most or all parts available), I think you can shave an inch off. You coud also use waggy shats and shorten the tubes. I havent decided wich waggy inner saft I need for my hybrid, either short side or long, but the ther would be surplus. I also have the parts to make the front 6 lug (waggy/chevy). You could the use a waggy rearto match the front width. Not as strong as a 9, but might be easier to convert to discs and get parts. I'm gonna cut the tube on my waggy rear, 44 and weld on 44A tubes and use 44A shafts so I can keep my brakes and ABS.

Shayne, you gonna be able to work on the engine in Cedar or leave it in Sanford? With a warm place to work, I should have a little time this winter to help assembly. I don't plan on keeping the cabn plowed open this inter, unless God drops a snowmobile in my lap fom nowhere. Got rid of my Yamaha years a go. ou can ride the county roads there in Northern Kent county. Careful on the Whitepine. They open them up wide and now and then we'd get call of one blowin a stop sign or hitting something and pretty soon there's a crew out takig measurements and photos.
yeah, got a shop to work in. heat, equipment... my gf's parents live around the corner and thats where my stuff will go before snow gets too deep. I still cant use my hand as well as I would like. cant do heavy work for sure! gotta go to GR 3 days a week for pt, so its getting there. I dont plan on being the big red stain down the side of the trail! I'm just gonna put around and enjoy being in an area where I can take off down the road and not worrie about getting a ticket! Midland Co sucks for sled owners. I have a pair of waggy axles that I want to put under my ZJ. even got the turbine wheels!

I still have my waggy front housing. Was gonna put under an s10. I think I went up to 10 deg for pinion angle when I rotated the knuckles. Also welded on 1"x3" C channel as a truss to make easy spring mounts. Should hi just a hair over 100,000 miles, but 2;72. gears yet. You can have it. Also have a lot of new brake parts and ford spindles to go 5 lug. If you could come up with an alternate 44 rear for my hybrid project, I'd let my waggy rear go with that front. The gearing would suck, but at least it soul be drivable until you could do the gear swap. Just a thought...

The coffee in flowing, sun is shining and I have today off.....awesome! The wifes jeep has some DW issues I have to look at (I'm thinking control arm bushings or ball joints) so I'll be working on that today. Also my GC still has no heat in the cab so I have to work on that, kinda chilly driving an hour to work with no heat.

Wish I had a sled but that's a toy I won't be able to get for a bit, but it's on the list (large list.....lol).

Pm me your address so I have it. I might go to the cabin tomorrow night. Have to be back quick on Tuesday. I think I have more 2x4 tube. If I have some long enough, I'll drop it off for your cross member. FYI, Cascade4WD at 28th and 96, is where I got the j joints and my bushings if you needed to get repair parts. He's open late too (Dave). Just call ahead to check in case he's between orders.

Coffees ready, cider donuts from QD. Wish I could've stayed home to work on the jeep today. Cut the spare tire well out and start boxing the floor in for the tank tuck.

sent to ya. also, anyone know where to get a good truss? I just picked up an hp 30 that is gonna go in with full truss and slider on the bottom.

I could make you one if you'd like.
yeah? what do ya need other then the axle? I know you used to have all the steel ya needed, but what about now? I had to reinforce the pass side upper c-arm bracket and I put the mini skids on both lowers. my long arms and tire size were stressing them bad! now its the cross member thats seeing the stress. let me know what we need to do to get this going. I did send a message to the guy on great lakes that builds those oil pan skid plates to see if he was making trusses. I woul rather pay you to do it then someone I dont knoow. let me know

I still have all the steel I would need. More so to get it going I would need to free up some time, and come down and check it all out.

Who wants to buy a kidney?

thats an unmalested 5.9! she has no idea what its worth. Kidney, does anyone know where the sperm bank is and how much they pay? I wonder how tired my arms would be by the time I could afford that 5.9? On that truss, I can bring ya the axle and work on it as you want. I still gotta buy gears, diff cover, TJ outers, WJ steering brakes..............

Is this place abanded? Redleg, are you everr around? give me a shout!!
