a 94 XJ just rolled into my local junkyard. it clears 32's and the front springs are red. i measured them and under the vehicle they are 14" tall. i am looking to lift my 93 grand cherokee as much as i can on the short arms, also i have a broken spring in front so that has to be fixed anyway. my plan is to get replacement stock front coils and do the F>R swap then buy springs for the front, unless these XJ coils are lift springs and will work. thanks

ok so how about used front springs from a I6 ZJ in the back, will they be any different or are all ZJ springs rated for V8? i figured i can use spacers in front to even things up unless the XJ springs are going to be too soft and ride really bad. i know its kinda debated everywhere but what all has to be done besides springs and shocks when lifting up to 4" i know its not definate just looking for opinions on what kind of problems i will run into.

did some measuring and the front springs of my ZJ (318) measure about 11", also i discovered not only is my front right spring broke, it isn't even sitting on the mount anymore it actually is starting to fall down around it. anyway, the back measures about 8". so i figure i can get some front replacements and stick them in the back and get 3" roughly and these front XJ coils that measured 14" should get me 2-3". my only question is how are the XJ coils going to ride in my ZJ, are they going to be too soft for my V8 or will they just sit a little lower?
