I think you get regular brakes but one guy told me that some setups would have a brake system failure. I can't imagine that tis is true so I would also like to know from the experts cause my ABS is failing, it engages on dry roads.
 
With the HCU out of the way, you have to plumb the lines correctly and you simply end up with "regular" brakes. The computer that regulates the system will show a fault and turn itself off. You'll end up with the ABS light illuminated on your dash for all time (although I think I've heard of some folks being to pulll the fuse and have the light go out on the later models.)
