I have a 2019 GC Limited X with the 3.6L V6 with 66K miles on it. At 15K it had to have the rockers on the passenger side of the engine replaced. At 65k it had to have the cam assembly replace on the same side after a P0301 code. About 400 miles later It started throwing a P000A code. They replaced the cam assembly again. About 400 miles later it started knocking loudly, on that same side, again. Took it back in to the dealer (damn glad I bought the extended warranty now) and now they are saying the issue is due to a stretched timing chain. They are going to replace that and the oil pump. I asked how the timing chain and oil pump were related didn't get a straight answer. Has anyone else experienced this before? Are the timing chain and oil pump related? I love this ride but man, I have zero faith in it's longevity at this point. Curious as to any thoughts people have on it.
