06 WK 3.7 Quad I
At 45-60 MPH & ~1500-2000 RPM vehicle jerks/surges like it is shifting up and down. RPM fluxes with the surging. Add throttle and push above 2000 RPM it immediately smooths out.
Happens with:
Cruise on & off
A/C on & off
Level and inclined surfaces
When I initially shift into drive it takes ~ 1.5 potato to drop into gear. When decelerating, brakes applied, there's a clunk/downshift just prior to full stop.
Took it to dealership earlier when the jerk/surge felt more like a slip/surge they found nothing. Haven't returned yet.
Any thoughts?

Update: Torque convertor destroyed itself. Dealership replaced entire transmission.
