:( Due to some unfortunate turn of events I regret to say that I will not be able to attend GSE this year. I will raise my beer ( Yes canadian beer ) every night to join in the celibrations. Bruce, I need you to print off a pic of my ZJ and put it in the window of your truck. And when you hit my log, take my picture out and pass it over the log. That should keep the Jeep gods happy and keep the tradition of the log crossing alive. LOL
;)
Well Hope everyone has a great time. I will be thinking of you all.

You better get to work!

Yeah, thats no joke! I found a guy local who says he can do my R&P setup for hella cheap, and I finally have the 44 ready to go in up front. I think it'll all work out, but like usual it'c coming down to the nitty gritty.

Come on Tracey dont be a puss. At least you have something to work with. I am going to try and milk the 30 through one more GSE and we all know its not going to make it!

We can break our 30's together. I am trying to get a set of 37's in time for the trip. :dynamite: Guess that will be the excuse to get a real axle up front finally.

Hey Shay, I dunno where you're at with your 44 search but I bought another Waggy 44 the other day that I would be willing to sell ya if you're interested. I've already stolen the axle shafts out of it for spares, but I'm sure you could find some at your local pick n pull. Holla if you want me to bring it to GSE.

**BTW: I got the 8.8 geared on Friday and got the 44 installed yesterday! I just need to shorten my trac bar a few inches to fit the new mount and buy a set of rear wheel adapters to fit my new 5x5.5 wheels.

I still have not decided what to do Tracey. Clayton says he can narrow a HP44 to run waggy axles and that sounds like the way to go. I have not bought nothing yet though. I found a whole running waggy for $400 but do not really want the whole thing. Oh well something will work out one of these days.

See you soon.

Well I agree that the high pinion is the way to go as far as clearance and strength go, but R&P are more expensive and also the ratios can be a little tougher to find. Also, when I approached him about doing a HP44 he told me it was going to be $700 just to shorten the axle, then more money for the damn brackets, basically all that plus the cost of the axle itself puts you up into a fully set up over the counter store bought unit. Oh well, good luck and see you in 17 days![/b]

Last minute fixes suck, I need new joints on the front axles, so I'm out for this year as well. Unless of course someone feels like doing a quick fix Thursday afternoon :) .

Oh well see you all next year, take alot of pictures, I'll need something to fill the void.

Later, J
