This past weekends Jamboree was at the Sayersbrook Bison ranch in Potosi Missouri, and I've found that the owner of that private property would be happy to host a Grand Slam event there. Just wanting to find out if there is any interest in a Grand Slam in MO? The ranch has 6300 acres and 12 trails already cut with probably several more being planned. If there's any interest, let me know and I think I can get this thing going.

Private property =$$
How much would he charge, what kind of facilities, restrooms, showers, electricity?

Well, it doesn't look like there enough interest to do all the work this year. It'll most likely happen next year though.

As far as cost, the owner doesn't charge any more than any of other national parks do, something like $25 a vehicle for the weekend. So the cost of registration, depending on how fancy people want to get (ie. t-shirts) shouldn't be more than $50 - $75. Facilities wise, you'd have to get a hotel room, unless you wanted to camp in the nearby national forest and I don't know what kind of facilities they have.

You guys pay that much to use public land???? I wasn't aware that the goverment was charging $25 per vehicle for a weekend of fun on PUBLIC OWNED LAND....... Isn't is amazing how the goverment has found a way to tax us for just about everything we do in life......

Will this private property owner require an libility insurance policy to hold the event?

Randy, Where is Bison Ranch and how difficult? In other words, will it be do-able with out lockers. When are you thinking of making this run? I just received notice my Anthony's BB has been shipped. I then want to order Kevin's Rock Rails. At that point, I would be ready to take my WJ out. Say, Early March. It's not much fun fixing parts in the cold !!!
