look at his profile, i think he might have something interesting going on there. i mean his profile says booze broads and blazers., i didn't see one thing that says anything about a jeep. just a thought.

and that part minivan remark. this has me intrigued (sp?)
HMMMMM :?

My minivan's bigger then yours :newbie: ...

Anyhow... Everyone remember thoes 6" and 8" custom coils group buy that went on JU awhile back? Who made thoes springs?

Blazer boy here is going quadracoil on his fullsize'd turd....He wants 10" front coils for the rear of his truck...since it weighs almost twice as much as a ZJ...

He's shooting to fit 44" TSL Boggers with some trimming...

350, TH-350, NP 205, D60 front, Corp 14 bolt rear.... he's not going to break anything....

Check national spring, or maybe even skyjackers webpage. 10" XJ coils shouldn't be THAT hard to find....

:spank: :pant: :cuddle:

If it weighs twice as much then he won't get 10" out of them. I guess the ass end of a Blazer might be more comperable to the front end of a ZJ--who knows. I would say do it right the first time and get some custom springs made that have an appropriate spring rate for his vehicle.

I purchased a pair of 8" XJ coils from National Spring. They gave approximately 6.5" - 7" on the front of my ZJ. I'm sure if they make an 8", they can make a 10" XJ spring custom order.

Just and FYI. There is a 4:1 rule with coil springs. That is if the coil is longer than 4x than it O.D., then some bowing will occur. For a decent 10" the O.D. has to be pretty big and most likely won't fit a ZJ. It might; however, be okay on a Blazer.

Even if he ends up with around 7-9", thats still enough lift for what he's going for. You can run 38.5's on these trucks with a 6" lift....so if he hacks it to pieces, I think 10" front coils in the rear would work fine. Once I upgrade from my RE coils, we'll test fit one of the RE 4.5" front's in the rear of the K5. We have alot to learn before we rip this thing apart and start building a 4 link.....but somthing cool is bound to happen from it.

Where to find 10" coils

They actually dont weigh twice as much, unless your Minivan weighs 2100 lbs? Didnt think so. I want to use the front coils in back, hoping to get somewhere around 8" of lift, then use spacers to get it up to/around ten, hack and stuff 44 boggers on it, and since im trying to use mini-wini parts obviously I dont have enough dinero for custom springs, since im already gonna have to turn my head and cough up the dough for the mounts, arms, etc. :smoke:
