I like the protofab bumper but I dont see many people with it. The Arb is nice to but its the bars that stick up from the bumper that I dont like. It looks kind of dumb. I want that part of it to stay closer to the body of the jeep. Anybody have any suggestions ?

I like their design also. They don't list how much they weigh. I imagine its a lot less than the ARB. Its a little pricey. Why doesn't someone see about a group buy for them and maybe we could get lower prices.

I was on the forums earlier and found your post. I did not know that protofab just came out with a zj bumper so I checked it out and ordered it about 30 minutes later. Look at the flat top design one and it looks similar to the trailready just not filled in. I got the stinger model. Right now they are having a 10 percent off sale and I got mine for 563 dollars after freight. So hurry!!!

I do have access to a bender, but I know it is still pretty difficult to build a bumper. I would go try, but tube is not cheap or is it. First, when was this tested with airbags. remember, every ZJ has atleast one airbag. Also, if you have disabled your airbag(s), hope you don't get in an accident and have an insurance company check them. It's against FMV safety standards to disable them unless the vehicle is equiped with a manual switching device. Also, If i wanted people to see my framerails, i wouldn't buy a bumper. as for the price, kolak sells the ARB's for about the same price anyways so shoot him an email. If you don't have his email, it's on my site as well. I will be buying one from him asap.
