I followed this thread from the first page and can't believe you put all this rebuild on a I6 engine. What a deal.
How has this affected your milage? Freeway driving?
It is beautiful. A work of art. I have to wear a bib to absorb the drool. lol

thanks, I got 16 mpg going to uwahrrie today. I can run 75 with no issues just starting to feel a little vibe at that speed. Do not want to go any faster than that in a lifted rig, lol.

Very cool build. About how much time did it take to do the "Hack and tap"? Also did you do the hack and tap while the TC was on the jeep? What did you use to cut the shaft? Sorry about all the questions.
did the hack n tap on teh jeep, maybe an hour or so, used a 4.5" grinder with a cut off wheel.
 
Been looking for ways to keep the bugs off the front of the jeep...;)

What do you all think, my axle was hitting the tank after I stretched the wheelbase a little so I had to do it.
