How about a 2011 GSMW trip to Badlands Offroad Park in Indiana. Maybe like mid spring or early summer? Just a thought, would love to see a bunch of GC all in one spot wheeling.

I have never been to badlands but i want to go bad
all my buddies jeeps are stock so it would kinda suck just going with them
i need some other lifted jeeps to hit some better trails with
so i am available on the 18th of june its my weekend off lets see what others say

Where are you at? I've got a great park 20 miles from my house and lots of state land around the corner. I dont want to step on any toes as far as setting up something as a group, but if nothing is getting planned then maybe we could do it up here and get more people. I have room for camping at my house for 5 to 6 trailers or 10 to 12 tents. I can have aporta potty brought in and stuff like that if need be too. I would let as many people as I can fit camp here to save all some coin. Just a thought. The park is called Rocks and Vallys located in Harrison Mi. check out the web site and think about it.

Let me know what you guys decide to do. I would always be up for a trip down to the badlands but would also like to go up to rocks and valleys to see what it is like. June 18th should work for me. Got a local trip with my jeep club the weekend before but if my jeep is still in running order i would be up for another trip somewhere.

I called a few local guys and if we do it here, we can count on a few of them. Only one grand, the rest are other Jeeps and my buddy has a bad *** Land Rover I told him he would have to stay 50 feet behind us!

shayne i dont think we are stepping on toes because we are the only ones planning here it sounds like i am in southern ohio so either way is a bout the same distance
i would like to go to badlands because i checked out their site and they said they can runs stocks in there so i could have at least 2 to 4 other cherokees no other grands tho
but i am going to look into Rocks and Valleys and see how far it is

I would love to come to rocks and valleys but most of the trip would be spent driving there and back unless i took my vacation its 7.5hrs from me badlands is only 3.5hrs from me so if i haul or drive that will still be a hella trip for the weekend maybe this fall when i take some vacation i can swing up that way and camp but for now lets try to get a group together for badlands mid to late june

Yeah, I know what you mean. Badlands is 61/2 hours from me. I have family in In. but now where near there and no support system if something breaks. Thats the scary part for me, driving in and not being able to drive back. Still want to do it, just makes me nervous. I'll load up as many tools as I can and bring a trailer with extra wheels tires and tools on it.

I wont know for sure till end of next week. I got rear ended and the Jeep is in the body shop. One good thing is we are doing my long arms while its down. starting a thread on that mod today or tomorrow.

Ok I'm out of the Bad Lands this year, but it looks like we may be able to put together one in Michigan. Anybody thats interested check out the thread under Grand Slams. Still no idea when, but seems like it should be sometime soon. Read the thread and see what we are thinking and if anyone has any input it is welcome.

So far this has been the current GSMW planned, Hope some of you can make it, my rig is down until I get everything put back together so unless I get it back together in alil over a month I'll just be riding along. . .
