I am finally posting pics of my dual steering stabilizer setup on my 98. I ended up having to use 2 stabilizers to get all my death wobble out. I know that is supposedly just supposed to mask the problem, but it has been 9 months with no sign of DW's return (knock on wood). Anyway, i have one question....why after installing my addco military swarbar would my car feel looser on the highway? Its weird....with my old stock swaybar i did not have to fight to keep my car in the lane like i do now....its not a horrible problem or anything, but it is just odd since the sway should be far less, right?

fun fact! spot where the rancho ss is ever so slightly rubbing the trackbar and removing paint. i gotta do something about that eventually.

any words of advice, helpful hints or delightful squash recipes accepted.

I have noticed the same thing with regards to the Addco. It is a very wierd feeling, like the jeep either wants to be turning right ofr left, but doesn't want to go straight.

I can't figure it out, but i am thinking of removing mine and putting the stocker back on since I can't keep the thing in my lane on the highway.

I use tera disco links, I wonder if that has anything to do with it....

Just a little joke :D

Where did you get that bracket that mounts to the tie rod???

I am working on a stabilizer set up so I can move it to the top of the drag link so the tie rod won't hit the bottom end of the axle mount.

Thanks Joe. Appreciate it.

But ummm....I HAD JKS links and switched to the Tera ones because the genreal concensus was that they were easier to mount with the addco bar.

Did you ever make any progress on your uneven wheeelbases left to right? I still need to measure mine. I hope my issue is that simple.

well i am getting the quicker disconects from jks and they have the "bullet" style atachment top and bottom. so i think they will be pretty easy to attach

and as far as the wheel base goes i am swapping out my d44a and d30 for a 8.8 and a h.p. d30 so i will deal with that when i do the swap the first week of feb.

( JOHNAND) how did you go about decicing which side to shorten and how much? does that "preload " the bar somehow?

just trying to comply
Ingredients
2 small spaghetti squash (1-1/4 to 1-1/2 pounds each)
4 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into small cubes (1 cup)
3 medium tomatoes, seeded and chopped (1-1/2 cups)
4 green onions, sliced (1/2 cup)
1/2 cup pine nuts or coarsely chopped walnuts, toasted
1/4 cup snipped fresh basil or parsley
1 tablespoon olive oil or cooking oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Directions
Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: 80 minutes

Halve squash lengthwise and remove the seeds. Prick skin all over. Place halves, cut side down, in a 3-quart rectangular baking dish. Cover and bake in a 350¦ oven for 60 to 70 minutes or until tender. Using a fork, separate the squash pulp into strands, leaving strands in shell. Sprinkle one-fourth of the mozzarella cheese in each shell; toss lightly. Press mixture up the sides of the shell.

Meanwhile, in a bowl combine tomatoes, green onions, nuts, basil or parsley, oil, and garlic. Spoon one-fourth of the tomato mixture into each shell. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Return to baking dish. Return to oven and bake, uncovered, about 20 minutes or until filling is heated through. Makes 4 servings.

Note: To micro-cook the spaghetti squash. Prick whole squash several times with a sharp knife. Place squash in a microwave-safe baking dish. Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power (high) for 15 to 20 minutes or until tender. Let stand 5 minutes. Halve squash lengthwise and remove seeds. Prepare filling and heat as above.

The title to this post said something about 2 steering stabilizers...

I only see one. Are we talking about disconnects only?

KevinM - the bracket is just something that i had welded up. i can get a better picture of it in the daylight if you want. it's just alittle simple bolt oon a plate with ubolts kinda thing.

007 - i have a stock swaybar in the stock position, but it is just kinda blending in.

As far as the adjustable quick disconnects, i think maybe that will be the awswer for my problems maybe....does anyone know from what inch to what inch they are adjustable?

Yeah, I figured they are pretty hard to find, I am making a similar mount out of 3/16" plate. Only bad part is drilling the damn holes. Steel that thick takes forever.
