delay wipers

Has anyone ever had trouble with the delay wipers ? I have a 94 I replaced the multifunction switch but the delay still does not work and they will not stop in the down position when you put them on low or high they work just fine, just no delay or stop wherever. Any ideas?

There is a box in the driver's kick that controlls the wiper delay. That sounds like your problem. I had one go out in my YJ, did the same thing.

i've got a 94zj also....mine went out a few months ago, same problem as mentioned above.

Some say kicking the box will make it work again.... Or you could just replace it. It controlls the wiper return and delay functions.
