I have a 98 grand cherokee 5.9, i really like it but it needs some work. So before i put any money into i need some feedback. So I dont go offroading much but occasionally i do and though the snow and camping and so forth. The rear axle needs help, Should i rebuild what i have the d44hd or go with a rebuilt d35, especially with all the aftermarket support of the d35, and i would like to retain abs, second i need new tires but i would like to go bigger and better, it has 235/70r/16s on it but i would like to go with 245/75r/16s maybe something like the bfg km2, to fit the tires does a 2'' bb sound good?
Thanks for any advice

my suggestion is to go with the d44...the d35 doesn't have a very good reputation. especially with the power of the 5.9.

i would do the budget boost with some all terrains. i think if you were 95% daily driving this that the all terrains would be better suited, but thats not to say that the KM2s aren't good tires. i would get some spacers for the wheels to prevent any rubbing and give you a big more aggressive stance.
