Hey

New to these forums and have a question. How do you get access to remove and replace the low beam and high beam headlight bulbs on a 99 Grand Cherokee? Also, how to do the same with the center stack section as my climate controls are not working, no blower fan either. It used to be intermittent then only worked in whatever mode I set it in when I started the car, if I changed modes nothing; my drove it and then it would intermittently shut down like in auto mode. Now it won't turn on at all and no blower either. Fuses looked good the last time I checked, thank goodness for electric heated seats. Thanks all for any help.

there's a really long bolt on the top of the headlight assembly that you have to pull out and then the whole assembly will come straight out.

be careful putting it back in, or you will break one of the tabs, and have to replace the whole f'n thing.

Detailed pictures should help.

Line up the ball sockets with the ball studs and give it a good shove to click it back into place. Not too hard tho...

as for your heater/fan this is common with the WJ's...the red wire tends to melt or comes loose... this is how to fix it...its located under the dash against the fire wall at the passenger side...if you have the ATZ system and have it set to Auto the fan wont start blowing till the engine has reached operating temperatures..
