DOH...alright....my boss is gonna kill me. I think I'll be working one day in over a month. I should still be able to join.

Jeff, you are very welcome to join us, we don't have alot (3 confirmed, 4 maybes) so the more the merrier. LCIR is kind of strange, it ranges from extremely easy to extremely difficult. As a whole not as rocky as Big Bear if you ask me but I have not yet been to many of the more difficult trails. We may have some milder vehicles with us so we're not sure at this point what kind of trails we will be running but I do know we will be doing our best to avoid most of the worst of the manzanita trails :D some of which will severely stripe your paint.

For eveybody's information LCIR is a reservation and as such there are fees associated with its use. I think last time we were there it was $10 per day but it does change without notice. Check the link I posted a few replies back for some further information.

OK, here's the deal guys. The family and I will be staying in Valley Center for the weekend so I will be going directly from there to LCIR on Saturday. I will be at the campground early at about 8:30 and we will be heading out from there around 9ish or as everyone shows up so don't be late. Bring snacks / lunch as there ain't no Mickey D's around.

Anyone who wants to caravan or rideshare will need to work out the details with Eric (SoCalZJ). He lives right near me and knows how to get there better than I. I beleive his intention is for rideshares to meet at his house and caravaneers to meet at the "In n Out" on the north side of the 91 fwy at Serfas Club Drive (Corona). Lets get a head count with intended meeting places. We will be on CB channel 10. Anyone who wants/needs my or Eric's cell phone, PM or e-mail me.

See you guys Saturday.

I'll be there. I got the day off again. I'll probably just head down on my own because going up to the 91 is way too far out of the way for me. I'll see everyone there

OK,guys I'm going to ned some help getting there.If anyone can tell me a time and place that would be great.I am also good with directions if that is any easyer.I'm coming from Santa Clarita.Their should be 2 of us coming down.Thanks

Directions (the mileages are VERY approximate):

Jeff: 210 East (55 mi), 71 South (15 mi), 91 East (5 mi), 15 South (40 mi), 79 South (40 mi), left at LCIR.

Alex: 5 South (10 mi), 74 East (30 mi), 15 South (20 mi), 79 South (40 mi), left at LCIR

You may all consider meeting at the Carl's Jr. at the 79 east of the 15. Basically, when heading south on the 15, exit at the 79, go left, and make the first right possible after you cross under the freeway. There is a Carl's Jr. there. To get to LCIR continue east on the 79. If you did so at about 8:00 AM that would put you at LCIR at the proper time since its about 40 miles on a winding road.

Anyone else need directions?

After entering LCIR on your left off of 79 travel up the road to the entry shack on your right. Pay your fee, get your map and continue on to the campground. I'll be waiting there anytime after 8:30 AM.

I will try to be at the Carl's a bit before 8 so that i can grab some grub then head out by 8. So if you want to meet me there, I will see you then.
