I just got my wife a 99 grand it has 102,000 miles on it. (It has the 4.0 in it)We love the jeep, but after driving it about 500 miles, the breaks went almost completely out.
After filling up the resevoir, we drove it to work about 9 miles, and the fluid dropped below the low level mark.
I can not see a leak anywhere in the engine compartment, and we will be taking off the wheels today, for a better look there.
I need to try to fix this myself, because money is low after buying an Isuzu Axiom and having the motor go after 2000 miles (Where in the heck is Joe Isuzu when you need to kick him in the nuts!)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Yes, I did a search, but could not find anything relavent.
Thanks

check all the lines running under the jeep. If you are losing it that fast I would guess a small hole somewhere. When it went down, was the bottle completely empty? If it was you will need to rebleed the system.

once the air gets in your system you need to bleed them all.....park it some where and thats clean and light color ground (no asphalt) and just pump those brakes to see if you get a puddle forming anyplace keep an eye on your resivor....you might need to bleed them before you actually do this......if you have a lift it might make it that much easier.....don't forget some safty glasses you don't want that in your eyes....

Once I got up under it, in a dry area I had someone push and hold the brakes. Then I definitely found it! It was a rusty break line. A buddy of mine is going to help me with it.
Thanks for the input!
