I am looking for a 3.5 inch lift for my ZJ . The jeep is a daily driver for my wife. I want to put 31's on it and to try and get rid of the problems caused by the 2 inch budget boost that is on it (death wobble) been looking at lifts but dont really know which one to buy,and of course when you ask them everyone says that theirs is the best. I want it to drive good and tow a small trailer. We go on ski trips so it needs to drive and handle good.
any help would be greatly appreciated

front to rear swap with RE front 3.5 springs adjustable trackbar jks and kevins offroad track bar relocation bracket.. sway bar discos, and all new shocks should have you ridin dirty [smilie=1zj2 (1).gif]

EDIT: sorry this is stuff that isnt needed but if you have 40 extra bucks isnt to bad an idea: add shock boots and 1 inch spacer for the rear

if you are a bawler go RE 3.5 superflex kit.. or do it right the first time claytons LA

X2 on the F->R lift
some comments on the above post....
"kevins relocation bracket" I think you mean his trackbar conversion.... Either way, I think an adjustable trackbar (front and possibly rear) are the way to go. About 125 a piece

"shock boots" Most say dont bother. how is this going to help with a lift?

"spacer in the rear" most people need this spacer to level their jeep. If you have a I6 especially. The older your jeep is, the more the springs have sagged. a spacer is crazy cheap and a good thing to have before you do the lift.

cheap shocks can be found through procomp or as I just purchased 4 skyjackers for 135 bucks!
a word to the wise though, if you are experiencing DW at 2" of lift, dont expect it to go away with a 3.5" lift. some jeeps are just more prone to DW off the factory floor. 3.5" will probably make your jeep more suceptible to DW unless you start checking all the front end components

What I did was cheap...so I thought. I started with some rusty's 3.5 in coils and some shocks. Then I went with their adj trac-bar (a must) and rear trac bar bracket. Then came my next problem...stock sway bar ball joints ripped out so I had to buy new ones so I got the jks quick discos. After I fixed that problem DW hit (and if you have it at 2ins good lord will you have it at 3.5ins) 1500 later I fixed my DW. yeeeah 1500, it sucks.
So I would say that you should go with the RE KIT or just buy the coils, shocks, trac bar, Steering Stab., and front lower adj control arms. The arms seemed to have fixed my DW problem. Mine is a DD so I had to get everything right

try looking at this forum and reading,there's tons of info on here if ppl take the time to look..... :roll:
