Will a RockKrawler 7" long arm lift be enough to clear 33x12.50" tires w/out triming or cuttin out the wheel wells? what kind of performance would this give me...i am looking at making a serious off-roader, but something that has nice or atleast bearable on-road manners. will a zj w/a v8 and 33s travel at interstate speeds? Is there anything i must but to go w/ the 7" lift and 33s, or just lift, wheels, and tires? thanx for your help
Zach

Zach, 7" is plenty to clear 33s without trimming. About the the only other thing you might want to buy on top of the RK kit would be to change gears to 4.11s. Other than that you should be golden.

thats way more lift than 33's need comfortably. I have 32's with the 6 and 3.55's and highways speeds are fine just a little harder to get to. With a v8 you should be better off than me plus you might have lower gears than me too. Offcorse lower gears would help out with gas milage and wheel speed.

The most important thing you should get with your lift and tires is lockers by far. Nice big tires and a big lift don't help when one of the wheels is spinning. Invest in lockers my friend and your vehicle will be a thousand times more capable.
