I was researching for 3 in lifts and found out that with an all time 4wd it seems to be much more expensive. What suspension company do y'all recommend getting a 3 in from. I would like to stay under $1000. By the way I have a '94 Grand Cherokee, 5.2, all time 4wd. I was looking into Rustys Offroad.
P.S. Do all the lift kits include upper and lower adjustable control arms? Also do you have to have front and rear, upper and lower adjutable control arms?

At 3" you dont need any new control arms at all. Not all kits come with any either, but some do. I'd suggest the RE (rubicon express) 3.5" super flex. Everyone seems to like that kit and it comes with new lowers.

I really like my ProComp 3" lift. New shocks, coil springs, front/rear lower control arms, and front tracbar relocation bracket. Simple install, and great ride. I've got pics, if you want.

I wouldn't even think about lifting an AWD quadratrac Grand. You'll die.

As a matter of fact, this is me, seconds before I bought the farm.

I have the 3.5" Tuff Counrty lift and you can get it cheaper then alot of the other "bignames" I donot like their shocks and would go with OME, edelbrock or rancho rsx for better ride. This lift comes with new lower control arms. I have upgraded to a Rusty's hd trackbar and mount and longer front swaybar endlinks or jks dicos would be good as well. I run 31" tires and have no rub offroad, with alittle triming I think 32's would be ok as well.

I ran this lift for 6months without the new front trackbar etc, so you could run with this and then later on down the road add to it. One more way to save on money is to not buy new wheels. If you are runing a 31"tire the stock wheels will do just fine. check it out at tuffcountry.com you can also email them and they always get back to you, their customer service is very good. If you email me I'll send you some pics of my rig with this lift. jason.roberts@ns.sympatico.ca.
