What are your thoughts on using 4130 Chromoly Control Arms? I will use Johnny Joints for the ends. Do you think that it will work? They will replace the rear Long Arms that I have on right now.

The eybolts that go into the control arms on the rear keep getting loose on me because there is no jam nut. I have talked to some professional shops here in southern California and they all said that it is not designed quite right. There needs to be a jam nut and Rusty does not want to help me out much more unless I spend more money with him. An alternative is to replace the control arms and use johnny joints for the ends. CO has the same strength as DOM with a thinner wall comparison, but I would go with the same wall thickness as the DOM. The Chromoly tubing would be the same weight but stronger. The reason I ask this is because I can get Chromoly tubing for reletively the same price as DOM.

I finally was able to talk to Rusty and he is sending be some Jam Nuts for the rear control arms. Hopefully this will fix my loose clunking problem. I will let you guys know who are running the LA set up how this works, and if it solves the problem.
