my wipers wont return to the bottom position when i turn them off. they go the full cycle when running, buy they stop right in my line of sight between cycles.
any suggestions?

its a 93 4.0 Laredo.

thanks,
Chris

do they "over shoot" your window when they are at half cycle? Ie on their maximum "up stroke" does your drivers side wiper go over the A-pillar or does it go to the normal "vertical" position?
If it overshoots, the aluminum tines may have been shot in the wiper arm pivot. Rare, but possible. Also a dumb suggestion but look for obstructions, especially near the plastic molding near where the arms pivot. Sounds like its probably an electrical issue though, so neither of the two above suggestions may be of any help.

I would try to swap the wiper motor relay with a like one in the same fuse box.If that doesnt work there is a intermitant wiper module behind the drivers side kick panel. It will be black in color and only a few inches long. It has connectors on both sides of it, unplug both of them and remove the module. Now plug the two connectors together and see if the wipers park correctly. :p
