Ok. My 5.2's Transmission seems dead. It all happend within a week.
I started hearing a wine down there, took it to the shop and guy told me to turn my overdrive off and the noise went away. That ment the over drive is going. Previous to the shop visit ,I changed filter and fluid do to the noise. Then went to the shop. 2 days after going to the shop, first gear started slipping (more like disengaging), reverse doing the same, and it seems that 4th is choosing when to engage.
My question is: Is it a sensor or is my transmission just that unlucky? I need help before it dies completely on the road.
Thanks

hey man did you try changing your tarnny neutral switch in the back of the tranny. I think its like 50.00 bucks. That swich can make your tranny do a number of things. I am not saying that if you change the swich your tranny is fixed, but my sisters made some of the same sounds and i changed the swich and it stoped the sounds and let it shit into first smooth from reverse and from first to second smooth ans so one. Check the swich out and see if it looks worn and what not.
