I want to upgrade the gear ratio in my '93. Basic questions...... what type of axles do I have? Dana 35 in the rear and Dana 30 in the front???? and what size ring and pinion do I need to buy? and from where? I'm running 31x10.5. I want to upgrade to 33". It locks up with 31's. help....

D30 long in the front, dana 35 c-clip in the rear
Probably has 3.43 or something

If your only running 33's why do you want to go with such a low gearing, try running 4.11's or something of that nature. Thats what I would do if this is you daily driver.

Personally I recommend these gears for these tires
31"s - 4.11
33"s - 4.56
35"s - 4.88
37"+ - 5.13
Mind you I like tall gears but for any high millage motor or 4.0 motor, you'll maybe want to stick to these a bit more
