I flopped it going up a hill. We were doin some night time wheelin and slid in to a rut and flopped right on to the sand. the rear quater pretty wavey and the drivers door has some dings but thats it. even the mirrior is still attached. pics coming soon. anyways, now it won't start. i didn't lose any fluids or anything. When i first tried to turn it over the positve cable at the battery shot out sparks and also the just clunks and stops. tried jumping it but to no results and my battery is brand new. so i'm buying a new starter. any other ideas to look out for?

What Kind of battery?? how long where you on your side??

Could have messed up the battery.. Try swapping in someone elses and see what that does..

BUt I am also for taking the plugs out and turning it over.. That way you know the combustion chambers are clean..

got it running. tested the starter it was find. than i finally pulled the plugs and turned it over. word to the wise don't have your friend stand near the car on the passenger side. lets just say his clothes were oil soaked. kept turning it over to get much as we can out. put in new spark plugs and fired right up. i also had the biggest smoke show for about 7 minutes in the neighborhood. Than i drove it today and the engine code 43 came on.(misfire) i can feel it at idle. so i'm gonna pull the plugs and see if there is any oil on them or somethings. Now my zj drives like shit now, i got a bad wobble, steering pump whines and turning slow is feeling real wierd and i can't forget the 5 more clunks i hear now. i will get the pictures up this afternoon.
