Greetings,

I have a 97 zj that has been my family vehicle for over 10 years. I have decided to make her more off road worthy. Plans include a 5.5 inch long arm lift on 33s. Currently I am building an 8.8 rear end I got from the wrecking yard to install. I'm very excited.

Hi all,

Recently bought a 2005 WK 5.7L HEMI the end of last year. Living in UT it just made sense. I don’t know a lot about Jeeps, but I have a lot of plans for mine. Purchased it with a K&N cold air, BBK throttle body, Upgrade brakes, Flowmaster exhaust, and a performance tune. I recently put a 2” RC lift, Bilstein shocks, 1.5” spacers, and 265/70R 17 BF KO2 tires. I am excited to keep adding mods and take it out exploring. Maybe finally checking out Moab.

Hello, I'm a recent purchaser of a 2004 WJ Laredo 4.0l 4x4. I hope to find useful info on this site's forums, as I upgrade my new HEEP's capabilities.

New to the forum and relatively to the GC. Got a '98 ZJ basically given to me a couple years back with a blown d35 and 220k on the clock.

Just got around to tinkering with it. Too many irons in the fire but oh well.. it's nearly road worthy now.

Newbie here as well! Picked up a 95 ZJ Limited with the 5.2L on the super cheap! Installed a 2" bb with 31x10.5 with 1.5" wheel spacers Trimmed the front bumper cover. ARB front winch bumper with XRC9500 winch. Just bought the NP242 for the swap. OME heavy coils on the way to replace bb. Now looking into underbody protection and rear locker.(Dana35C, No I'm not planning on replacing the rear end. I'ts an overland project, not a rock crawler.) Would love to fabricate a rear spare tire carrier eventually to give me more space inside.

New Jeep owner and forum member, 2008 WK Red Rock Crystal Grnd Cherokee Laredo. Jeep/Mercedes Benz cross powered by Daimler OM642 3L CRD turbo diesel and W5J400 transmission. Equipped similarly to a low end Grand Cherokee Limited. So fr have gotten 16.9mpg freeway towing, city mileage averaging 18.1mpg, and highway 21.6 @ 70mph. Already downloaded 1/3 of my tunes to the 430 HDD. Rides better than our 2006 Tuscon or 1999 RAM 2500 4x4 did. By far the most comfortable vehicle of any type I've owned.

Planned mods to include bug guard, side window deflectors, skid plates, and maybe Green Diesel Engineering chip and tune for increased mileage/power/torque. Planned uses includes every day driver, towing travel trailer and/or boat, and vacationing. No plans for Rubicon runs or Sierra Trek, been there and done that in other peoples' Jeeps. We will explore back dirt roads for sweet fishing spots and out of the way places.

Hello all. I wasn't planning on buying a rig when I woke up today but after fixing a friend's ac I was offered a 2001 Grand Cherokee which has sat in their driveway for the last 5 years that they wanted to sell. It was originally their son's who doesn't want it anymore. They did start it up regularly to keep the battery charged and the oil moving so there shouldn't be any issues there (i hope). It's a 60th Anniversary edition with the 4.7l V8. It has about 150,00 miles on it. I offered them $2000 for it and they sold it to me for $1750. It does have it's issues as most 18 year old rigs will. The radiator is cracked where the top hose attaches. The power steering system has a leak somewhere. The front passenger side window was busted out during a break in attempt, and the right front tire has a leak. There might be others but I haven't dug very deep into it just yet. Hey, at least the thing starts up and the radio works.... This will be the fourth vehicle I own. The others are a 77 Chevy C10, 01 Chevy S10 Blazer, and a 13 Dodge Dart Rallye edition. I know I'll be able to find a lot of help here and am looking forward to being a member. Here's some pics of the rig. I can pick up a window and radiator from the You Pull It yard because I looked into it this afternoon. Hello again !!!
