Being that this is a modified product, the original bracket in the ARB kit that attaches the upper part of the snorkel to the body doesn’t fit. I had planned to do without this bracket but after cruising at highway speeds noticed it was needed.
The snorkel “body” do holds it in place quite strongly, but at highway speeds there is a noticeable vibration transmitted to the upper part of it. By building a bracket the neck is now secured to the body thus eliminating this vibrations. Left “loose” overtime no doubt that it could loosen the bolts holding the main body to the ZJ.
