97 GC Laredo with the Infinity Gold. I was wondering if anyone could tell me what size the top dash speakers are and how to get to them to upgrade them without breaking the dash! I've already upgraded the doors with Infinity Reference 6.5's and added an Alpine amp powering 10 " Infinity Reference subwoofer.Just need to get to the tweeters now!!!

Not sure on the size but if you are replacing them it shouldn't matter. To get to the tweeters, the top dash near the windshield is held down by clips. I simply put a flathead scews driver between the dash and the top dash and pryed the plastic up. The tweeters are mounted on traiangle ish plates held down by two screws. Let me know if you have any more questions.

A good tool to use to remove the dash cover is a 2-3" plastic putty knife. Start at one end and lift the cover up enough to get your fingers under it. From there you can pull it up as you move to the opposite side.
Here's what the tweeters look like (courtesy of "Lovemy95ZJ" over at JU)

Rockford Fosgate makes some excellent tweeters that fit in there.

Those stock dash tweeters are krap.... paper cone tweeters? Can you believe it? Anyway, you'll notice a BIG improvement when you replace them.

I installed some Pioneer 1" dome tweeters because it didn't have anything in there. What an improvement those things make!
It is a really simple install. Just get a slim flathead screwdriver and pry the grill off carefully. Then remove the screws. Very simple.
