How do I know what Transfer case I have? And also, I have to replce mine, Which one can I swich to? Mine has the opitions of 4 all time, N, 4LO

With those 4 options, you have a 249 or 247 (depending on if you have a ZJ or WJ), you can swap to a 242 (select-trac) or 231 (command trac), depending on year of your jeep and the donor, you might have to modify a few things. The 242 allows you to run 4wd full time, the command trac does not offer full time 4wd, but is a stronger case. You could always throw another 249 in there, it's a strong case, but the VC issue is a bad one.
