I say we do it in the UP. I've got a line on a cabin we can rent and use of snowmobiles can be worked out. About 80 miles over the bridge. Let me know who would be interested. We could get some of our Wi. and Min. ZJs to come to that I'm sure

Unless we get a February thaw, a private park would probably be the best bet for that late in the year. A lot of the roads/trails we can use now will be closed for the season for wheeled vehicles, but open for snowmobile use. All I can say for myself is I'd be interested, but I can't commit this early. My schedule is too fluid. Might be up for some icefishing in the UP as well.

Shayne, didn't get much done this week but brought the tools back down. Hoping to have it ready in time for Silver Lake. Couldn't get my neighbor to lift that engine for me but should probably next week. Any headway on those parts yet?

Sorry Shayne, I think you misunderstood. I have a full axle with 3:55 already. I need 4:10 gears and the 4:10 and down carrier to go with it. Also, something I completely forgot about. I don't think I can get away with the HO head. My coil packs won't mount to it. So I thinjk I'm stuck with a WJ head for now.

Depending on the timing I'd be interested. Next years schedules don't come out till December so I can't say for sure till then. x2 on the private park for a winter run.

Redleg, you can make your own coil pac mounts yourself. Thats what I did with my cherokee (93 engine in a 2000 cherokee). If you want I can get some pics tonight and post them.

I'd like to see what you did, but WJ is different than XJ, it's a long, 1 piece coil.
