Default Tow dolly towing a jeep grand cherokee

ok, so ive been searching for the last hour and i cant find a definate answer too what im looking for.

Basically, i have a 1996 JGCL, 4.0 NP242 auto and i am looking too transport it too events behind my f150 using a tow dolly.

Having the tow dolly under the front wheels, is the proper way too tow it..

Trans- Either in "Park" or "Neutral"
Transfer case in "Neutral"

That putting the heep on a two wheel dolly with trans in park and tc in neutral was the correct way too tow it without dropping driveshafts.

Thanks man

Yep putting the tcase in N does the same thing as dropping the front drive shaft. id probably put the trans in N also just because it gives you another place for it to spin freely but i dont think itll make much of a differance

Agreed.

Based on my research, if you put the trans in N than it'll spin from residual rotation. This will fry the bands and clutches
