i believe you are wanting projection headlights with HID's in the low's
on eBay they will cost you $150 to $180 depending on the look you want, they have one with a amber side marker, one with blue leds, and one with white leds. depend on were you live it might be a problem if yours side markers are not abler. here is a few links http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWAX%3AIT http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-...item5190d4c4be http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1999-...item4cededb6ca and a cheap set of HID's (4300K) about $50 that work on a 9006 bulb. 4300 will give you the brights light and it will looks similar to the stock light color. if you want it a bit blue get 5000K. keep in mind they are a cheap set compared to the real things that can run over $400. so check that the seller is form the US with a warranty and check that if it break taht you mail it to the US and not over seas. last you will need to make sure you adjust them right so the bright light dose nto hit other drivers and blind them hope it helps |

For Bulbs, get the Sylvania Silverstars. They are about $30 for a two-pack. I installed them in my 04 and they are way better than the stock ones. Not quite HID, but nice bright white lights. I just did the low beams to save $, since my factory high beams seem fine as is. Sylvania does not make the Ultra's for our WJ's.

you will find over fifty different sellers on ebay, list by lowest price and keep an eye on them for a while, I got mine delivered to Brisbane Australia for AU$185 at my door.
White side leds, the low beam improvement is good and I think that changing to better bulbs will be enough. I put HID lows on a Camry and have to keep them pointed so low that they are useless, if you dont the other drivers will flash you all the b*&^&^% time. I use 225 Narvas for long veiw and 160 Narvas for side of the road, any brighter and the roadsigns reflect too much. Have fun with it. Cheers, Beach |

i just got a set of new headlights and 9004 bulbs off ebay housings were 34 for the pair shipped and headlight bulbs are 5000k hid sims were the cheapest set on ebay less than $7 for the pair shipped and they are almost as bright as the 8k HIDs i put in my suburban!!
beware they are 100/80watt not 65/45 watt like the factory, so you also need some high temp plugins for them which i also got on ebay for $14 Last edited by don4life; 03-04-2010 at 06:28 PM. |
