Default Hard To Turn Left

I have a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Columbia Edition that is completely stock with just over 80,000 miles on it. Sometimes when I make a left turn sitting still it is hard to turn the steering wheel. This seems to be most prominent just after starting the vehicle but it occasionally has "heavy" steering at low speeds but nothing major. I have not noticed the pump cavitating but it does have a very slight wine but it has had that since we bought it about a year ago. I would greatly appreciate any help you guys can offer. Thanks.

Are you low on power steering fluid? Also check for bent steering parts. I have seen plenty of bent parts cause strange issues like this.

had the same problem with mine, would turn right easy as pie, to the left was near impossible, ended up being the steering gearbox
