Question gear rotation??

i was looking into swapping out my gears ..i have 3:55 now and wanna go to 4:88 and was wondering when i purchase them is the front dana 30 a standard rotation or reverse rotation gear ?? i have been told both by my so called know it all friends and need some real advice from the pro's..thanks

It can be either. You can get a high pinion or a low pinion front 30. You'll have to take a look at it and see what you have. If its a ZJ, and its the original front axle, its a low pinion. Not a bad idea to source a high pinion for it while your at it.
