Default Premature Grand Slam Deep South Thread

This meet is in its premature stages. The tentative date is set for the 21st and 22nd of October at Grey Rocks in Alabama. As of right now I have the feelers out on different sites and am in the process of sending out emails and letters to vendors for possible sponsorship. Will keep updates here as they come.

If anyone else is interested in helping with this please let me know and I am sure I can find you something to do.

Pushing date off. Response times of sponsers slow. Anyone else have ideas for dates?

Uh, premature? Huh? Maybe you mean preliminary...

I know there is a big land cruiser event at Gray Rock sometime in October, so that might not have been the best weekend anyways. Also, you can't just show up like you can at Tellico. You probably know this if you've been before. You have to have the whole park reserved in advance, which takes a pretty decent size group to be able to afford easily..

Make it at Gray Rock in mid to late December (but not on Christmas day) and I'll be there.

Thats why I am pushing the date off a bit. Availability in Oct is limited and need more sponsership. Sponsers are willing, but the process is slow.

I would be interested in coming. I am only an hour away from Grey Rock so if you need some help let me know. I will be watching. I would be there if the ZJ doesn't sell that is.

After going to Superlift ORV in Hot Springs, AR this weekend and talking to other people up there about Grey Rocks, I think it would be best to have it up there.

Grey Rocks doesnt really have trails that cater to everyones level of modification. Superlift has everything for everyone. No mods to heavy mods.

May be 3 years old. But people may keep looking back. I'm in Central Mississippi. Would be willing to drive 5 or 6 hours for a good weekend ride.
