Contemplating painting the wheels on my Jeep BLACK! They'd also get a nice clear coat on them too.

What do you think?

Any other colors that may work? By the way, all the rest of the pimpin gold trim is coming off at the same time.

wasnt there a thread like this over at JU? :lol: if i remember correctly you should be geting your flame suit on right now

:lol: IMO i wouldnt bother with painting your rimz, just get some cheap black steelies and call it good.

I would paint them black....I have never seen it and I think it would look pretty sweet. Just dont do a bs job b/c it will look stupid.

Nope... gonna get blasted in the booth... then our bodyshop is going to paint & clear them for me. They'll be nicely baked and all..... will have to attempt to use stick-on wheel weights to keep a nice finish.

Sorry.... don't know what JU is.... and I don't wear flame suits.... not my style!

I'd like steelies... but it's all about $$ right now and getting these painted is going to be cheaper than 5 steelies.... so I'm going with the paint.

4 steel rock crawler rims are about $110, I doubt you could get those blasted and painted for less than that. don't buy a 5th rim, mount the spare on one of those you take off.

I too was thinking of just spraying my gold snoflakes black, until I get the new tires mounted on the black steelies I have.
