Default SLC Ski Areas

Where is the better skiing? I'm going to be up there next week. I'll be skiing next friday and saturday. Anyone is welcome to hook up if they like.

Thanks

Jason

What kind of terrain do you like?

The Canyons and PC are expensive, but have a LOT of terrain. Brighton is cheaper and has lots of great backcountry stuff.

Snowbird is a favorite for tourists because it's big and it's not that hard to find some decent runs without a guide.

The best mountain is Alta, but if you snowboard your out of luck.

Yep, that is where I learned. Great place. When it's chest deep, you will know the meaning of champagne powder.

Well, I'll ski/snowboard most anything. We have one person that is basically a green/easy blue snowboarder. She may not snowboard Saturday. If so, we'll probably hit a harder ski area. We want something that isn't to hard.

Also, http://www.canyonsports.com has discount tickets. Are there any better places to get tickets?

How's Powdermountain?

Unfortunately, we'll have a few snowboarders so Alta is out of the question. Next year I plan to make a skier only trip.

Thanks for the input guys,

Jason
