Default Tires for my 2002 Grand Cherokee

I don't have 4x4 but I do want pretty hefty tires that can handle wet weather and snow easily. Also that can take turns faster(better handling) but also that won't break my bank. Looking for 32s maybe.

Thanks!

What size tires do you have now? Here is a link where you can pick your vehicle and it will show you all the tires that will fit your Jeep.

I had 265/76/16 Cooper discoverer ATRs on my last WJ, I am not sure they make the ATR but that was a good size tire (31 1/2) but I also had a BB 2" lift. Going with 32's you will get a lot of rubbing without any lift.

I've been been running the Goodyear Duratrac's for the past 5 years and I LOVE THEM. They are a fantastic tire to use for the mud & snow.

so many off-road tire options, sometimes its difficult on deciding on what to buy. some of the popular brands are BFG, Goodyear, Nitto.

I have heard good things about Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3.

I suggest Duratracs for aggressive all around tires that can perform well in the snow.

Default What Size Tire

Can't figure what size 16" summer tires to get for my 02 GC, which I drive easy.

Its present winter ones are 245/70.
But the ones on my 02 parts car (that I'll use the rims from) are 235/70.
And a tire-shop list shows 225/75.

Comments welcome.

The Cooper Discoverer A/TW is highly recommended.

Thanks, I really appreciate your help, but my problem is not what brand to get but what size. (I have a set of the winters we need in Canada, so my what-size question applies to summers.)
