v8 5.2l 1997 tranny trouble
i have an v8 5.2l 1997 grand cherokee and i think my tranny is blocked in drive position when i put it on park position it's continued to foward to the stoper when i put it in reverse position it's like the reverse and drive is on and when i'm running on drive position it shift good 1-2 but stay in the second gear i clicked to neutral position and back in drive and it shift 3 and 4 gear what could it be ????

Sounds to me like you have a gummed up valve body. When was the last time you did a filter and fluid change?

With it being 15 years old it likely needs the tranny serviced, where are you located?
