Fail.
ECM died when I pulled into the campsite and shut off the motor. Jeep wouldn't start... ever again (so my wife thought). Luckily a friend there happened to have a 95 Ram 1500 which shared the same ECM with my 95 Grand. I swapped ECMs and it worked fine. He only lived 120 miles away and so roadside assistance was called to tow his rig home. It was 2wd anyway so he was only there to ride along with us, no trail time lost for him. I had to pay for the tow after the first 100 miles which was like $120. I drove home 300 miles with his ECM and have to mail it back to him now.
