Welp.. I finally lost all sense of reason, probably from the excessive noise caused by the LTB's and decided I'd had enough. I needed AT's, but what size says I? Oh yes... 35" you can't go down from 34" and after all that cutting, I thought it silly to even consideer a 33" At for daily driving. Nope.. I found a great deal on some Goodyear AT's, and fired up the angle grinder yet again for more trimming.
Now, before you all bust a gasket, I have no intention of wheeling with these at this time, but rather, just needed a nice soft, QUIET ride for my 70 mile daily commute. I intend on putting gears in eventually, but at the moment, the 3.73's are doing just fine. I drove at 70MPH for the first time in over a year comfortably today. Here's the spy pic.. I will have some better photos up soon. I think this is the first 4" WJ running 35's though, unless you guys know of another? Dave ![]()

you'll get into cop-related trouble with those meats sticking out 2" from fenders... hopefully not, but... you know.

I like the look of that.
I have to admit that the rounded butt of the WJ makes it look kinda stupid from behind, when it has a big lift on it. Unlike a ZJ, which just looks better and better the more you modify it. But yours looks good, though. I hope the WK doesn't suffer from the Chrysler "jelly bean" look that plagued the late 90's. |

As for the rounded back comment, I'd have to agree, although, without the bumper, it looks much meaner than with the bumper in place. Especially with a big honkin' ball hitch sticking out in peoples windshield when they pull up behid me. Ken is right, I think it looks much bigger and much better in person. In the photos it looks short and wide, but in person, it is still sitting at 4-4.5" over stock, which puts the hood right about my chest height. (I'm about 5'9) It definately stops people who are aimlessly jay-walking across the street in a daze  The top of the bumper about waist high... Remember, the tops of those tires at 35" high... that's about the average guys belt line or a tall persons crotch..the roofline is about 6'2"-6'3" (Taller than me by quite a bit)
