I have a 93 ZJ with 3 in coils and 3/4 spacers. I am switching to 32 in BFGs and am going to regear the diffs. My question is 4.10s or 4.56s. Good and bad on each. Its my daily driver but sees plenty of trails. Any comments would be helpful.

This is just a personal preference but I'd go with the 4.56. It will work just fine with the 33's and if you move up to a taller tire latter you will have the gears to work with.
Of course this is just my .02 worth |

I'm running 33's now and plan on swapping to 4.27s with the new rear. WIth all the highway time my jeep sees, 4.56 is just too low.

Sorry, Nathan - I never even went there. I'm still running the factory 3.73's.

Nathan, maybe we can work a deal on my front D30 with Lock-rite and 4.56's.
I'm cobbing in a D44, and will probably go 4.88's. I'm comming down next weekend to look for a place to live, so maybe we can hook up and discuss it. Mike. [ This Message was edited by: mmyers on 2002-03-09 15:24 ] |
