hey guys.
tomorrow initiates my last few weeks in HS and we're starting off our senior pranks tomorrow morning by all the seniors parking there cars in the quad area and hallways of the school.
my question is- i was considering flexing my jeep up on the side of this big dirt mound they have right in the middle of the quad...but was wondering if i left it there for a good 2-4 hours would it mess up my coils or other components?

One time I left my TJ flexed up overnight in the winter (MI, so it was really cold), and the Jeep had a serious lean to it after I pulled it down in the morning. A short trip to a freind's house and back and to get something to eat and it was right as rain again. I think it was purely temperature related and as the spring was worked again, it returned to normal. In short, no, it should not harm your vehicle, but I threw that out there incase you got freaked out if when you pulled it off the dirt mound it was leaning or something. I have left my WJ fully flexed up on trails for hours at a time as trail repairs were undergoing and no noticeable difference in it.

Reminds me of my HS days…. We turned a junked station wagon on its roof in the middle of the school. Took a lot of creative Hi-Lift jacking and some of the geometry I learning my Freshman year.

In reply to the topic, I don't think it would matter, or else all the land rover dealerships wouldn't leave their new rigs parked that way for show..

I have a few weeks before ours....not sure what to do yet...any ideas?

welll. i have plenty of ideas, theres manure or bud in the A/C ducts, pyramiding the lunch tables. clogging the locks on the doors to classrooms, banners of course, donuts on the baseball and football fields, lunch tables in the pools- my favorite is actually putting a mattress in the pool, full size. The mattress will soack with water and be impossible to get out unless u drain the pool. Also, there's overfilling the chlorine levels and using dye and dying the pool a color of ur choice haha. two years ago the seniors were all a bunch of alchies, i think about 80% went to JC, and at my school thats insane. They took all their old kegs, about 5 or 6 of em
and drilled and bolted themto the lunch tables.

Some guys at my school painted 'chalk outlines' all over the place. The funniest ones were the random body parts especially on walls and stuff :lol:

You will be fine as long as the coils aren't touching and you bumpstops are at the proper lenght. It would be cool to do that though. IF the Jeep leans its just a good excuse to buy longer coils.

Informitive.... I've been wondering where my school tax dollars have been going!! you could also try greasing up a pig ,once they are greased they are pretty impossible to catch. but its great to watch people try :thumbsup:

Jwalker....Wow!!....you are so right 'bout that. I used to do primitive camping thing (blackpowder) and one day they greesed up a pig in a 100x100' fenced area. About 150 men, women & kids got in at one time and chased the pig...a $20.oo bill was the posted reward......the pig outlasted all the "skinners".....and i got a video of it... :eek: ......Don S..
