I thought finding the Spicer flange to u-joint adapter (#02-2-1379) was going to be easy and waited until the last f'n minute to address the issue. Well it ain't easy to aquire locally. So an alternative I found was that you can get a combination u-joint from NAPA (#353 for $15.99) which will allow you to use the factory Exploder adapter with your factory ZJ driveshaft. Hope this helps anyone else looking for options.

Aint it great! Did the same thing using a chevy 1500 driveshaft (truck was 1500) to mate to a corporate 14 bolt. Kinda defeats the purpose of going up in size when you use smaller needle bearing caps but it allows you to keep going and do the driveshaft at a later date.

Thanks man, that tip is a good one.
I hope that the Poohba or whoever is keeping that info to add into the 8.8 writeup for this site.
