My RE4.5 kit is supposed to come in Friday, and I'm REALLY excited. I've searched through all the nagca pics and other forums, but haven't found any pics of a RE4.5 on the RTI ramp and have only found one flexed to the max. It'd be great if someone could post a few or a link if they have them.

Thanks a lot,
Mike

RE 3.5 with Upper control arms added in, modified the unibody by the control arms. I can get the tire 35 inches off the ground which equates to 970 something on a rti I think. Basset did the math for me but I forget.

To gain more flex, an easy solution is to cut your CA mounts. If you look, you will notice they kind of look like this [_] and the arm comes in contact w/ the straight section. An easy remedy to this problem is to take an angle grinder to the mounts to kind of grind out a half moon in order for the arms to clear sorta like this [/\] (bad representation, but you should get the idea). This is not a huge problem w/ the RE kits because their arms are clearanced if installed right. On the axle sides, the arms should look like O___, with the ___ being the arm. If mounted like this O----- , the arm ----- will contact the mount more so that if correctly mounted like O____. I hope I didn't confuse too many people. ;)

He said that he modded the unibody near the CAs to gain more flex, this is what I was refering to. :?

Refer to my post. I believe that is what mod he is referring to. But I could be and have been known to be wrong.

Damn, 710 on a 30 is pretty good. Have you trimmed any?? Are you using the bumpstop extensions that came with the kit?? Are those OME shocks?? Do you have a rear swaybar??

Thanks :D

I cut off that little notch in the unibody that binds on the control arms. Took all of five minutes with a grinder and added a bit to the droop.
